The DAAD offers IAESTE interns an affordable, combined international health, accident and personal/private liability insurance policy. Since 1st of January 2021, the insurance premium (tariff 720A) is €38.00 per month. You can find the conditions of insurance here.

Various ways exist for IAESTE interns to apply for these insurance policies, depending on whether you have applied for a DAAD travel grant or not.

In the event that you have applied for a travel grant or intend to do so, you can take out the insurance policy via the DAAD portal at the same time. If you do not intend to apply for a travel grant, you can send the insurance application to our insurance department by email.
