The first step of the application process is registering at the official IAESTE Exchange Platform (EP) as a student. Once you have uploaded the following four mandatory documents (an English CV, a Transcript of Records, a valid enrollment certificate, and a language certificate for English (max. 2 years old)) your account will be verified. Afterwards, you can complete your profile. You can find more details about this on the EP.

Registration on the IAESTE Exchange Platform is possible year-round. Throughout the year, we regularly meet with our IAESTE partner countries to exchange internship offers 1:1 (Exchange Offers). Additionally, the foreign national committees often share short-term offers available internationally (Global Offers). You can apply for these at any time.
After your profile is verified, you can view all currently available internship offers. Are you interested in a specific position? Contact your local committee or the national committee, and we will assist you further.
Depending on the requirements of the specific internship, you can then prepare the detailed application documents. These will be forwarded to the foreign employer by our partner committee. You can find the deadlines for the application in the individual offers.
If successful, you will receive a final confirmation after the deadline has passed and depending on the respective start-date of the internship, along with the notification that the foreign employer has agreed to hire you as an intern.
At the same time, the IAESTE committee in the host country will issue all the necessary documents for your visa application or work permit. The national committee in the internship country is your first point of contact for the next steps: preparing for your stay.
